Do you need to know how to make up your DIY wedding favours?
Try following these simple steps and good luck! If you need any further help, why not contact us through our web site and we will be happy to help. www.ukweddingfavours.com

1. Place 2 or 3 layers of tulle nets on a flat surface and align the edges exactly. (Make sure you only have the required number of nets as the very fine material is sometimes difficult to separate.) Place the sugared almonds or dragees in the curved base cup and position in the centre of the tulle nets.

2. Bring all the outer edges of the tulle together.

3. Gather in the excess material evenly.

4. Place a small rubber band over the gathered tulle nets. (this will give you two free hands to work with)

5. Take a length of ribbon and tie as tight as possible around the neck of your wedding favour. You can now remove the rubber band.

6. Separate the layers of tulle by firmly easing the bottom layer in a downward motion and the inner layer(s) in an upward motion. Do this all the way around to give a pleasing effect.

7. Finally add your favour flower centre(s) by firmly pushing into the centre so that the stems are forced down into the cavity where the almonds or sweets are. (we recommend that if more that 1 flower is to be used, these are twisted together first)

Note:
Once the favour flowers are attached you should be able to pick up the completed wedding favour by the flowers. If they come out re-tie the ribbon tighter.

If you are searching online and currently planning a Asian Wedding then you have found the right place for help and advice on choosing the right wedding favours for the special day. One of our most popular items purchased for Asian weddings are the wedding disposable cameras these are great for capturing special moments not just of the bride and groom but also from your guests point of view.

Included with the disposable cameras is a table card which is an ideal way of adding that personalised touch to your ceremony.

Sugarded Almonds are popular at Asian Weddings

Sugar coated almonds shown above in white are available in 8 different colours that include gold and silver coloured almonds. The almonds come in a 500g pack and each pack contains a total of around 120 individual sugared almonds.

Asian Wedding Advice

If you are attending your first Asian wedding here is some handy help and advice on Asian wedding etiquette. One of the most important things to consider is clothing it is not compulsory to wear a sari or ethnic dress but keep your outfit modest and stay clear of showing bear shoulders and mini skirts. Bright colours are used in clothing at Asian weddings to add to the celebration factor and people do tend to avoid wearing anything that is in a standard black or white.

Some ceremonies will require you to remove your shoes and even go barefoot so consider this in your outfit. Also worth taking a note of is some rituals don’t allow pictures to be taken at specific times and moments during the ceremony.

Don’t be shy, ask questions if you are unsure what the rituals are. People will be more than willing to help and guide you. Please note it is not custom for male guests to kiss or dance with the bride so it is best to respect this tradition.
